Hello there, the USCIS received my case on Feb 19 2016 and I'm wondering how long does it take, generally, to receive the Notice of action #2 ?

I received the first one, but we are still waiting for the second, maybe somebody knows? Thank you!

My service center is at Potomac, but they didnt send it yet, it,s normal that it still in process? Thank you.

NOA2 is the approval notice and you will receive once an officer reviews your petition and renders a decision. I believe the processing time is about 5 months on average but, the Potomac Center is a new one so not sure of how long it will take for them to review your case.

Here's a thread for those at the Potomac Center: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/573081-all-potomac-i-130-filers-new-center-merged-threads/page-170

I've seen that many January filers are being approved at Potomac! Probably around May you might get approved :D My case is at Nebraska service center and still no signs of NOA2. My priority date is Feb. 2nd, 2016. According to VJ it says I might get approved in mid June! Praying I get approved earlier than that. It takes around 3 to 5 months for approval.

God bless

When i look up my case number on the Uscis website it says on May 4th that my general enqyiry was completed. Is that the same as an noa2? If my case has left the service centre and is now in my local branch does that mean that we have definitely already passed the point of getting our noa2? Our lawyer is leaving us a bit in the dark...
