HELP!!! EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SECURITY CARD

Good Morning Everyone

I am very excited that after two months of patiently waiting, my husband finally received his EAD and AP card in the mail yesterday. He also got a job and he will start on Monday!!

I am a little confused I am not sure if I should be contacting the Social Security office to update them? The reason I ask is because in the front of his social security card it states that the social security card is not authorized for work. Would that be an issue if he uses his SS number on Monday at his job?

Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated?

not yet, that's because it is a temporary card, when he gets his GC, then he can go and change the card

Does it say "not authorized for work" or "valid for work only with DHS authorization"?
