Creating this thread for the April AOS filers :)

I sent off my AOS packet on March 22 and it was delivered yesterday, March 27 however it seems to take about 10 days to receive the NOA1 which makes me an April filer.

I've applied for AOS, EAD and AP.

08/17/2015 - I-129F petition/packet sent off
12/17/2015 - Visa Interview in Sweden. We're APPROVED!!!
01/14/2016 - P.O.E. @ Newark International Airport
03/21/2016 - Got married @ town hall
03/22/2016 - AOS, EAD, AP packet sent off
08/03/2016 - Became a Conditional Permanent Resident
05/07/2018 - ROC packet sent off

I should post here as well, package sent on 24th March, received on the 26th, just waiting for my NOA's now. Here's hoping for a speedy and hassle free journey!

7/20/2016: Received Interview Notice for August 25, 2016 @ 11:45am (Day 113)

8/25/2016: Interview Atlanta Field Office at 11:45am -APPROVED!!!! (Day 149)

Hi April filers! I guess I'm joining you guys. I first sent AOS packet 3/14 but USCIS returned my packet 3/24 for uncompleted I-485 application. Which was... not true. So I resubmitted everything 3/24 and today USCIS have cashed application fees. I'm so glad they did. That means they're not going to return my application again. :yes:

03/25/2016 - Application received in USCIS Chicago Lockbox

04/01/2016 - Checks cashed

04/04/2016 - Received 4 texts (no emails though)

04/11/2016 - NOA Hardcopies in mail

04/14/2016 - Biometrics letter in mail

04/27/2016 - Biometrics Appointment

05/07/2016 - Received RFE in mail

05/09/2016 - Mailed RFE response

06/17/2016 - Received approval notice for I-131

06/22/2016 - Received EAD/AP card in mail

Sent everything off March 30th and arrived April 2nd. Taking a look at the previous months, looks like some are even getting green cards before EAD and AP are even processed. Of course, they're the lucky few, but who knows!

I really just want to be able to work more than anything. I don't know about you guys, but I've been here 2.5 months and can't wait to earn some money and have something to do!

Yep, I'm absolutely desperate to be working, I hate the feeling of not contributing. But I guess I should make the most of the enforced time off, plenty of exploring to be doing here in Texas!
