Thank you.  I am hoping they are looking at it.  We see that 2GO delivered the new NBI but the CEAC site doesn't mention that they received it.  I guess I must just remain patient.

we had our interview on April 5th and all went well but We were served with 221-G and needed to submit a DC for me. Was very heart breaking my fiancé did everything perfect. We submitted to 2go Friday April 20 and it received by the embassy on Monday 23rd and then on tuesday she got an email to go back to the Embassy for “Oath Taking” which we thought was strange because she had already done that. Afterwards they told her the document and file will go to final review so nothing approved yet. I checked the CEAC and it still under “administrative process” last update was 4/25. I guess no news is good news but the waiting is tough not knowing if things will go well. They kept her passport since the first interview. When she went there earlier today and  they didn’t interview her just the fingerprinting and oath.I wonder if anyone else has been through something like  this or if that’s a good sign or normal? Just have to keep hoping and praying 🙏😔. This journey is not for the faint of heart that’s for sure.

yes unfortunately so..... but I will say the harder it gets the greater the love grows for us. I am sure for others as well and i pray for everyone’s reunion and happiness

We did lose 5 or 6 June couples because of the stress of the wait.  Rose and I were always fine.  When I was weak, she was strong and when she was weak, I was strong.  We never once thought about breaking up during this journey.

That’s exactly what happened to us and it’s amazing how resilient you find love can be in the most darkest of hours. This journey is filled with unknown variables and ultimately someone somewhere holds the final key to what your future will ultimately become. All the more reason we lean on our faith and on each other and so long as we believe and love we will not be defeated 😕

Hang in there Mark.  If there is anything you need let us know.  I am here til early Sunday morning, then heading back.  I agree that it makes your relationship stronger and is definitely worth the wait and all the curve balls they throw at you.  Wishing you guys the best!

Thank you.... It’s all a waiting game at this point I know and I appreciate your kind words. Faith never was more prevelant than this moment in our lives. I wish everyone success to be united with love ones. We are all displaced until that golden moment.

==I'm posting about the 221g here because my fiancé is Filipina but in Taiwan ---- all 3 Filipinas at the interview got 221g while the other 8 girls from Taiwan were approved at the interview===

Interview april 30 - she was asked 3 times has she been to usa before and she said no 3 times - issued a 221g , no additional documents needed, they hand wrote under "other" -" nothing required at this time" and said someone will call you in couple of days.

the night of the interview (my time in USA) ceac updated april 30 

ceac still shows ready

ceac updated may 1 still shows ready

4 days later still no phone call or email from the consulate.

 

May 1 is the day my congressman rep contacted the consulate so that could be the may 1 update , not sure.

 

I will add this, they did have her take a new passport photo at the interview and attached it to the ds160 form

in hind sight I wish we decided for her to go back to Philippines in august before I filed the petition and go through Manila instead.

Why do you say that, do you think her being in Taiwan is the reason she got the 221g?

Give them some time to review something because your fiancee lives in Taiwan instead Manila. Is she a OFW?
