Hi every one,

i am really confused right now and i would like every ones opinion on the following matter, few weeks ago i had my naturlization interview. i passed it and was recommended for approval. on monday i got an email that my oath ceremony letter has been mailed out. I called uscis talked to a immigration officer and he told me my oath is on 9th of feb. i should recieve letter in few days. Now i assume that the oath letter comes from the local office so it should not take very long to arrive since i dont live very far from there. On thursday i called uscis again told them i didnt recieve letter and if they can fax it to me since i may need to show it to my supervisor at work to get that day off, immigration officer told me my oath is not on 9th but on 20th. now i was really confused i called again and talked to a different immigration officer and she said the same thing that my oath is on 20th.

now what can cause this contradicting info and does the oath letter comes from local office or national benefit center in Missouri? because it bee a week almost since i got message about my oath letter has mailed but i still didnt recieve it.

please share your experiences and thoughts that would be helpful

It sounds like your ceremony is on the 20th.

The first guy you talked to could have been wrong or they could have changed the date before they mailed your letter.

I don't know if your status said that a letter had been mailed or if it said that a ceremony was scheduled and a letter will be mailed but they usually send the letter out a day or two after the status update.
