Fixing Igor's list for I-751

I went to look at VSC approvals and was surprised to see petitions approved that were filed in August and September when the trend in the posts seems to be April/May. It seems like those members who filed K1s in VSC but ROC in CSC are showing up as VSC filers for ROC in Igor's list. It's really skewing the results, so would be nice to see that fixed.

I've noticed that many don't even bother to fill in their timeline or do not update it at all. Many have incorrect information that makes it difficult to get accurate trend results.

(mod hat off)

Agree with LionessDeon. It is a very common issue that forum members either do not complete, or maintain, their timeline at many stages of their immigration journey. This then tends to seriously diminish the validity of Igor's stats.

YMMV.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Agreed. but these are users that actually bothered to fill in their entire timeline, and indicated the correct SC, but are showing up under the data of the incorrect one. It would be really helpful if that didn't happen, especially considering we already have incomplete data as is.

Yeah there's definitely something going on here. My timeline is all entered correctly - My K1 was filed at VSC and now my I-751 is at CSC and when I look up I-751 in Igor's List I'm showing up in VSC and not CSC.

Yeah it seems to be especially common with K1 timelines. At least when I was doing K1 everyone was doing a good job reminding everyone to make/update their timelines because everyone was obsessed with Igor's list. Then when they came to the US most of them haven't bothered to change to AOS and I bet there'a bunch of ROC that still says they're doing K1. It's a huge problem. I've completely stopped checking Igor's or anything related to timelines because after K1 it becomes absolutely useless.

It's not just people not updating their timelines though.

Like I said before, my timeline is 100% accurate, I've always kept it up to date, and yet for ROC I'm showing up under the wrong service center.
