Hi All,

Hope everyone is doing great. I am coming back to VJ after a long gap.

As I am a recent immigrant to the US, and have been looking for a Job since 5 Months (June). I have 4 months of SSN with not much credit history, I am living alone in sharing with other people and looking for a job.

I want to know that what Medical facilities can I avail free of cost living in Illinois, like in Cook County Hospital or any other place please advice. Based on my GC and unemployment status or without that something that is free for all or Asians or Indians etc

there is nothing for free, especially medical expenses, while a hospital will accept you if you need to go to an emergency room, they send you the bill later

I was asking just in case if I fall sick what is the most affordable way to get treated. Thanks for the reply aleful.

There really isn't one. However, if at you have a heart attack or appendix explodes you may qualify for emergency Medicaid
