Philippine passport renewal and releasing

To Philippine passport holder, please tell me who among of you just recently renew their passport. Is it true that the waiting time of release will be two to three months? How true is this. Thank you

Ours was 30 business days earlier this year. A week before it was suppose to arrive we got a text that it was delayed Took another couple weeks after that. That was going through Tacloban. Can't speak for the others

Got mine earlier this year as well i pay for rush i think its.3 weeks

Then my siblings got theirs just last month after 30 days they got it...

It depends where you are renewing. I did mine at DFA Aseana, my appointment was October 23 and paid for rush processing, my passport was release Nov. 4 ( as scheduled).

If you are renewing in the province or from satellite offices and malls, releasing may take longer.

I renewed my passport at DFA aseana Aug. 27 and got my passport as scheduled Sept. 8. Not delayed.

A month or so ago that was true it was taking that long because of the change over to a new process in producing the passports. It seems they have worked through all the problems and passports are being produced at a faster rate. Your experience is going to be different depending where you file. Out in the provinces you'll have a longer wait. If you live in or have access to the passport location DFA Aseana then you can expect it in about 10 to 14 business days.

Best to use DFA Aseana if your in a hurry.

@ Greenbaum,I will take care of it at DFA davao since im from the province and nearest dfa office is davao.

I'm currently waiting for the two months result of my sputum culture test. DO YOU think I still have time to take care of it there?

Yes I think you will have time. Turn around now is running between 30-45 days.

I renewed mine November 05, and they said it will be delivered December 5.

if you do it in the Main DFA branch which is Aseana in Manila, for rush processing you will get your passport for 2weeks. My fiance applied for passport last September and he got it 2 weeks aftr, exactly as promised. If you do it in the province, it will take a month..
