Is vacation a valid reason for AP?

Hi everyone

Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, I've seen a lot about AP but I still feel concerned.

I'm putting together all the documentation for AOS, including EAD and would like to apply for AP to be able to visit my family in the UK early next year. Of course, I realise it might not come through in time in which case I wouldn't go but would like to try.

My concern with the AP is that the form clearly states that travel for vacation is not a valid reason for submitting the I-131 yet I can see from this forum that lots of people seem to do this.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks

You don't have to to explain anything. It is an interim document. Many of us wrote N/A for date of intended departure and Visit family for trip purpose without any issues. Good luck.
