Hello VJ folks,

Today i am writting my queries regarding PCC form India.

I completed my DS-261 and paid my AOS fees, which shows paid now on website.

Its been 2 weeks gone since AOS fees paid but still IV fees option is not there.

>How long it will take to get IV invoice?

And the main thing is,

I already have all the AOS documents and IV documents ready to send except PCC of my husband from India.

>What should i do?

>Should i send AOS documents?

>Should i send AOS + IV docs (without PCC)?

>Should i wait for PCC from india? ( Which is going to take 15 more days)

>All the documents from india must be attestd or photocopy is OK ?

Also my husband added my name to his passport which changed my family name.

But i will chang it after my husband land here.

>Is it okay or should i do it before his interview?

please give me proper guidance.

i am confused with all these questions now.

Thank you so much in advance. :help: :help: :help:

You have to wait for your ds 261 to be reviewed or you can call them to review over the phone then wait for nvc to issue your iv fee. You have to send the pcc with your AOS so you have to wait to get it before you send anything. I think what you have to do at this point is wait. Good luck.

>How long it will take to get IV invoice? You have to call NVC and get the DS-261 reviewed. That unlocks the IV fee and DS-260. If you don't call it's about a month.

And the main thing is,

I already have all the AOS documents and IV documents ready to send except PCC of my husband from India.

>What should i do? Well untill you get the PCC you can't send IV package

>Should i send AOS documents? If the AOS is ready you could snd its better to send together

>Should i send AOS + IV docs (without PCC)? No you never send in an incomplete package that can mean months of delays.

>Should i wait for PCC from india? ( Which is going to take 15 more days). Yes you have no choice but to wait.

>All the documents from india must be attestd or photocopy is OK ? Ony send photocopy with translation You take originals to interview

Also my husband added my name to his passport which changed my family name.

But i will chang it after my husband land here.

>Is it okay or should i do it before his interview? Your name is of no matter

Here is the NVC Process wiki you should read so you know everything.

I didn't read all the replays here so I might write something already written here.

It doesn't have to take so long. I paid AOS (after completing DS-261 ), Took 2 days for the status to change to PAID. Then, the second I've seen

the status changed, I called the NVC and asked the representative to issue an invoice for the IV fee so I could pay it.

It took 2 more days and I paid the IV fee and could move on with the process.

Photocopies are ok, and you dont need to wait to make IV fee payment to send AOS+IV package. Use the bar coded cover sheet from AOS payment to use for both AOS and IV package, one for each. And yes wait for PCC and send it all together coz sending in separate will delay your case even further as they will issue checklist once they dont find PCC in your package. To get the IV fee bill, call them, explain them you've already paid AOS and waiting for IV fee bill to appear, talk politely, they'll activate it online and u'll be able to pay it in next day or two. I did the same just a week ago. So hope this helps.

I called NVC for DS-261 review and they did it over phon and said IV invoce will be appear by 5-7 days.

So thank you so much for your guidance.

I will pay the IV fees and then fill DS-260 ASAP and then will wait for my husband's PCC from india.

i hope this is perfect plan. if its not please correct me.

i am lil confused about documents,

If I-864EZ is filed out for AOS, What kind of documents do i need to send with it???

So far i have

  1. TAX returnes forms
  2. W2 of past 3 years
  3. Employment Verification Letter
  4. Pay Stubs
  5. Bank Statements
  6. Marriage Certificate
  7. Copy of US passport
  8. Citizenship Certificate

Do i need anything else???please tell me

For IV supporting Documents,

  1. Beneficiary's Passport copy,
  2. Beneficiary's Birth certificate Copy,
  3. Marriage Cerificate,
  4. Beneficiary's PCC

or do i need to send all the documents of petitioners too???

And do we have send letters and phone bills as a proof of relationship?

I got to know There is a question about vaccines in DS-260,

if there is not any written record of any vaccine what shoud i do?

Which Vaccines are required?

A BIG THANK YOU IN ADVANCE...

Answers for your AOS package list:
  • Tax transcripts can be used lieu of return and W2 forms which is why I lined out those items.
  • You only need bank statements if your income alone is insufficient to meet the qualifying threshold and you are using assets to make up the difference.
  • You absolutely do not need the marriage certificate, passport copy, or citizenship certificate copy. The approved I-130 already established your eligibility. Those items are items joint sponsors would need to submit, not the petitioner.

Petitioner's documents are not needed with the IV package. Whether or not you send relationship evidence with your IV package is up to you.
