......Besides MOM! ;)

(and not the SS office nor the DMV office...or courthouse :))

Taco Bell? McDonalds? Subway? Chipotle?

IMAX? The zoo? The closest amusement park? A pro sport game? A concert? The Lake? The Beach? The mountains?

I had visited quite a bit but I do remeber somebody suggesting I should be taken to the Theatre in Denver, I could walk to the West End from where I lived in London.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

The first place I took him to was a waffle house! I just thought it would be so funny to take a proper English gent to a hole in the wall american diner place... little did I know that I would create a WAFFLE MONSTER!!!! He is now addicted to waffles and pancakes. Which, I was sad to find on my visits over, are ridiculously hard to find!

Nice, Costco would be good. Some of those bulk sizes ought to be good for some great facial expressions.

Lol what a great post I think about this every day, everything is going to be a shock to my husband cause jordan is so diffe

Well if things continue on trend hopefully my fiance will be here in NOV. People there think snow is beautiful and all that but they get cold when its like 73deg. So I"m just like, ....just wait you'll see when you shovel and slip on the ice. Maybe we'll check out the ice skating rink in the mall back home.

My husband keeps saying he'll love winter but gets cold in the 70's too! Lol. Missouri can get bitter cold.

I also want to take him to a huge buffet to sample different foods. Then I'll know better how to grocery shop and what to cook.

Buffets is a good one, just to be like the experience but its not really a fair representation of food most of the time. I might try something new at a buffet and be like meh, but if it was homemade or properly made I'd love it.

All you can eat crab legs night at the Casino buffet is probably on the agenda though.

Except for the huge ### food portions, the fear of rattle snakes and of course the intense heat...it´s not much different :/ we even have KFC and Dunkin donuts in Sweden now. And OFC Starbucks.

Though the BBQ in US is hard to beat :)

VN has some western chains, and in the big cities some western foods and many have 'tried' them but they are not the same. Burger King wasn't the same and they put mayo on everything vs ketchup and everything is sweeter. Beef in SE asia is not like the US imho, certainly the end result on a plate. They dont eat beef remotely as much as here so I'm thinking a huge Tbone would be a good freakout. KFC is pretty close to the same, but you can even get rice w/ gravy instead of mashed potatoes. Pizza was not great either. Other countries can BBQ and its definitely different....key is balance the tenderness /smoke of meat and sauce!
