Hi everyone,

I finally received my interview date at the US Consulate in Montreal after a long wait at the NVC. I know that you are supposed to sign up on the Canada-USVisa-info.com site to register the interview and to select your courier (Loomis) pick-up location. I did all this and when I printed the instruction page, it looks like this.

You have successfully registered your Immigrant Visa appointment on this website.

You must print this instruction page and bring it with you, along with the appointment letter, to the Consular interview.

You must attend your consular interview at the date and time assigned to you in your appointment letter.

For additional information on the Immigration Visa process and required documents, please refer to your appointment letter or visit the Consular Section Website at http://montreal.usconsulate.gov/visas/visas/immigrant-visas.html.

You only have until 26 October, 2015, 06:00 EDT to change the location where your visa documents will be delivered. After the time indicated above, the option to change the courier location will be deactivated from your account and at this point no courier changes will be allowed.

Here's my question - where is the Reference No. or Applicant ID that I am supposed to be seeing, that apparently the Consulate checks for before they let you in for your interview. I don't see it anywhere on this page; however, when I called the website's Call Center (437.887.1448), they gave me a reference id but the person on the line couldn't explain why I wasn't seeing this on the website.

Am I doing something wrong? Will the consulate let me in even though the reference id doesn't show up on the Instruction page but I got it from calling them? Has anyone else interviewed in Montreal recently also had this problem?

There is no reference number they will ask for, you have to print out the the confirmation page and take that with you .

Exactly,,,print out that confirmation sheet and show them that page.

I still printed out that page, as well as the Applicant Summary, and I'll bring both to the interview. It seems like other people had their "Reference ID" also listed in the top section by their name....just a bit anxious I guess that it doesn't show up for me.

It didn't show up on one either.
