case reapproved or reaffirmed by uscis

update on my wife's case. She got approved again 09/29/2015 after I submitted rebuttal to NOIR on 03/17/15. Would like to know if our case will be sent directly to d embassy or NVC? Or Would it be treated as a new case at NVC or we will have to go through the same process as if its a new case at NVC. Thanks

Congratulations. That is a reaffirmed. And in about 2 to 3 months you probably will hear from Lagos for an interview. No going back through NVC. It's still the same case. All your fees are in take. That's really great news.

Congratulations on your CR1 case reaffirmation.
It should go via NVC who will route it to Lagos but will stay there only very briefly, same old case like Dwheels said and you have to do nothing

but wait for Lagos for either a second interview or to submit the passport without a second interview.

Please advise on what we could do or we just wait till the AP is completed. This process has been a long journey for me and my wife but we sure know it will be resolved one day and it will all be history. I called every week to see if we out of AP but is the same story that we should wait till the complete the process. Your advise will be appreciated. Thanks

There is nothing you can do except wait until AP is completed and another interview is scheduled (or you are asked to drop off your passport).
Keep contacting them but it will take a while for the embassy to process the reaffirmed petition, you are probably in queue for the next step.

Our case is very similar..our case was re-approved Dec. 2nd 2015, was sent to NVC December 3rd 2015. I've called NVC 4 times, receiving different responses, I think those operators just sit behind a computer screen and don't know anything. Nothing has been updated. I called USCIS to see why they haven't updated the status online, we didn't know for 6 weeks that we were approved, they said it didn't matter if it was updated or not, I put in a request after 60 days and received an email with the approval. Not sure if NVC updates anything, it still has the same message from July 2015, very frustrating. We will be married 3 years in June. Please post any updates on your case, we are in Egypt, I will do the same. Good Luck to you

Our case was reaffirmed jan 13 and sent to nvc ,i found this out when i call uscis on jan 30 i didnt recieve anything from uscis by email or mail. I was forwarded straight to a tier 2 officer after giving our info.i called nvc they say they havent recieved our case back yet.like befor it could be in mail room and not scanned in yet.how long does nvc keep it til it goes back to embassy? Uscis said i should know by feb 5th but nothing. When i called uscis back and informed them nvc hasnt recieved it yet i was told to allow 35 days from jan5 .and other officer shoulnt of told me feb5 .theres a lack of communication Somewhere lol also uscis told me he would not have another interview embassy will call him to for appointment

Can i ask, have you all recieved a hardcopy or email that your case was reaffirmed? And how long did it take? Ours was reaffirmed on jan 13,2016. Thru speaking to 4 two tiers officers all telling me the same thing,But to this date havent recieved anything.and no update on websites.i was told by uscis that they dont always update.im getting very nervous Over this,

Check with your consulate every week or so to see if they have received the case back and ask them for the next step.

Still nothing at nvc.uscis says it was reaffirmed jan13, how long befor its sent to nvc? Lastnight i talked to uscis and he (2tier officer)told me it has been assigned to someone to be sent to nvc. And id recieve mail by march 3 stateing it was reaffirmed.this is nerve wracking!

Uscis called me this morning! after talking with officer a few days ago to see where our case was. She was stern and told me reaffirmed.although i havent recieved the notice.she told me allow 90 to be completed and i will recieve the notice. Uscis emails say pending security check for the last nine months.automatic reply,she said give it time to update it doesnt always update. Hhh
