As of Sept 30 they are working on applications dated March 23rd. However it looks like in the period from April-Sept they received 3,148 additional applications and only processed 2,442 putting them a further 706 applications behind. Given that they complete around 800 a month - we should expect another month delay - 7 months.

Yeah,

I know a guy with PD April 30 (means USCIS received your application) have not got scheduled yet? They cancelled his interview. And all May filers are waiting, I won't look into june filers because May is on first line.

I called USCIS and they said HOuston is working on June 19th but May filers don't even hear an update. In my conclusions, Houston is trying to hold all AOS through Jan 2016. Right now they are ready for the biggest holiday of the year and do not have time for our application. My best advice is just to take your good holidays and don't think about AOS in this year 2015.

That's what I am doing! FYI - When I entered IAH with AP last week the officer told me I was approved pending interview. They must be short interview spots with the holiday.

Henry,

You adjust from K-1 or another visa? I heard some people adjust from K1 and got a quick approval!

B1 - I don't think K-1 are dependent on the local office (In our case Houston) as most of them get an interview waver. Although the interview waver process seems to take some time.

Yup,

Most K-1 gonna get waiver, before they took awhile for approval but now it's very quick. About B-1 and F-1 for sure we have to pass our interview at Houston. Good luck to you! Hope they are speeding up after a big holiday.

Don't trust their timeframe, it does not mean your case will be processed when your PD beyond the point.

I have sent an email to Houston office to ask about why many cases are outside of the currently time frame, hope they will look into this for everyone from May and June.
