Can anyone offer any suggestions as to how I can prepare my CV for a Canadian company?

I'm trying to figure out what I can do in order for a Canadian company to take particular notice of my job application.

I have some ideas. For example, I thought about including a video in which I describe my skills and some of the projects I have worked on.

Can anyone comment on whether this sort of thing might be appropriate for a Canadian employer?

Yes there are opportunities for doing these sorts of "outside the box" applications.

Also depends on the type of job being applied for - if its in marketing or some new emerging technology then it makes sense to show your creativity. If you're applying for run of the mill business analyst roles....a solid resume and cover letter will do the trick.
