If not, then chances are your wife makes enough to need to file for sure.

For married, if at any point in those 10 years she made more than 20,300$ she'll have to file.

If she's self-employed the minimum she has to make is 400$.

I think we're going to need another sponsor, her parents brought her to Mexico when she was 16, she studied here, she graduated and now she works here at a hospital. She have never worked nor paid taxes in the U.S. even I speak better English than her and I'm Mexican.

I understand that in the moment when we move there we'll arrive with everything settled for me to work legally, but it will be the first time she works in american territory.

Yes you will probably need a joint sponsor. Also one other thing is if you do DCF your wife will need to prove domicile in the U.S.A. If she still has family here it should be easy enough. However if she has no family or other ties here such as job offer, house, bank account or something that can prove she has or plans to have domicile in the U.S. It might be a little harder

We live in southwest Austin and pay $1,245 for a very standard 1 bedroom apartment (nothing fancy and definitely more than we were paying in the UK for a 2 bedroom). We have one car between us and pay about $75 a month in gas, about $400 a month in groceries for the two of us. Our last electricity bill was $125 (thank you AC!) and gas was $50. I hope that helps!
