i have already mentioned all my intentions. i want to apply for B2 , so i can meet her in US before we make any final decision . As she cant travel to India right now.

Anyway, OP, ask your girlfriend about the situation of her family in USA. I mean, any of her parents are US citizens or in process of becoming one?

If she leaves US to go to Mexico (until I know), she won't be able to come back. Also does she have family in Mexico to stay with? What does she do in US? Has she researched how it would be her life doing the same in Mexico?

If both of you decide to reside in Mexico, you can enter Mexico and she can help you adjust your status to be a temporary resident. You will need to apply for a work permission to be able to work. That can probably take months. In Mexico the temporary residence does not include a work permission like in US. If you two choose this option, I can give you information about it. My husband was a temporary resident in Mexico. But I have to say that even if she is really in love with you, you two need to sit and talk about all your options. I'd say she is risking a lot of is she leaves USA. She is not responsible for crossing illegally the border because she was 14, but after she turned 18 she does have responsibility.

You can consider getting a tourist visa (like you said) for the first visit because you are going to visit. And then decide to apply for a student or work visa in US. Or even you can look for information to get a work visa in Mexico to be closer to her and then apply for a tourist visa for US. yes that's what i want to do. for now i just want to get a tourist visa so we both can meet for the first time. if we are satisfied then only we go further for any serious decision .

Stating you want to visit someone undocumented will NOT get you a B visa.

Your best bet.. apply on your own merits (good job\student\bank a\c\property\family ties).. and not mention your online girlfriend.

The girl and her family live in the US at the moment but the OP and the girl are thinking of moving to Mexico since she's undocumented but if she does then she can't go visit her family in the US. He said "but if she lives the us" but he meant leaves. At least that's how I'm interpreting things.

yes she lives in the US with her parents. and yes we are thinking of moving to mexico or India but only after our first meeting in person in USA . so im never going to tell her to come to Mexico or India so we can meet for the first time, because she wont be able go back to her parents. so now i want to apply for tourist visa so at least i can meet her once .

If so, what will be your basis of visitor visa application? Are you gonna say you want to visit US by yourself for few weeks or months just to travel? For the people frm your country or my country, it is extremely difficult if not impossible to get the tourist visa for the age group like yours. Not to disappoint you, but unless you are a son of a millionaire who want to waste several thousand dollars during US trip or unless you have a very decent job with income of several thousand dollars a month, it's very unlikely that you will be granted a tourist visa. The councellor sees persons from country like ours as a potential immigrant and you have to show a very strong ties to your country to convince him that you will return back.

Since you cannot mention intent of visiting an undocumented person, you might wanna discuss how you will show strong tie back to your country so that VJ users might guide you in right direction.

yes you are right . these are the things which worries me every time . ok i only have few options for this my job, family,and property and proof of bank statements to cover the all expanse during the stay in US .

No i will never tell her to leave US now, my top priority is always to keep her with her parents.

And to avoid this risk i'm also getting information about work visa from my seniors in my office and also with my US based clients with whom i work. if i can qualify for any work visa and if I'm able to get a job there then i think we both will have enough time to make any final decision.

So what will happen if you hit it off? Will you then tell her to leave? What's your profession, is it on the list of professions that would increase your chances of a work visa in the US? As of right now it doesn't really sound like you have strong ties to India.

Just apply for the B2 showing as many ties to your home country as possible - im not sure what else you are expecting, that's all there is to it.

I say to OP to apply, the worst that can happen is that you get denied, best case scenario is that you get a visa and get to see your girlfriend and figure out whether she is the one. Do it.

In all my years, this is a first..

to meet an undocumented alien half way across the world. From B2 for a short visit, to H1 for a long stay.. hmm intentions all over the place.
