Green Card On The Way. IS THERE A WAY TO TRACK IT?

So my husband's GreenCard has been mailed (according to USCIS Case Status Check. My question is , is there a way to track its shipment? Like USPS tracking or something? Thank you!

yes when my wife got her green card and we check her status it said card was mail and gave instructions on how to track it thru the usps if i remember right you just need to enter your number for tracking at USPS website

What does his ELIS say? When that says case closed then the card has "actually" been produced and the CRIS tracker will give a tracking number.

What does his ELIS say? When that says case closed then the card has "actually" been produced and the CRIS tracker will give a tracking number.

USCIS case status check says, "Card Was Mailed To Me" and elis status check says, "Card Produced" and "Closed". Doesn't give any instruction how to track the shipment. :(

The cris can show a tracking number at this point, but it may not. Keep checking but it normally only takes at most a week once the card is mailed.

Did you scroll down the page? I have never used this tool, but in my research this is what I found and those who have used it say that further down the page you should see additional information. BTW, did you create an account first?

Creating a Single Account Simplifies Your Case Management. Think of your myUSCIS account as your home page to view your case status and history for most of the applications and petitions you have filed with USCIS. Creating an account is free and allows you to easily save your receipt numbers and view your entire case history.

Can I ask, if you have information that the card has been shipped then what is the importance to track it? I'm sure you have your reasons, but I am just curious.
