Vermont cases being transferred to different office?

I put in a service request and the update I got was that my application is still pending consideration. That's it. What is going on?

Pending what? What does it say at uscis?

April 17 2015 send I-130

April 22 2015 recieved I-130 vermont

april 28 2015 noa 1 in the mail

September 21 2015 transffered from vermont to california

October 05 2015 I-130 approved at california

october 09 2015 noa 2 in the mail

October 21 2015 case recieved at nvc

December 9 2015 all mail at nvc

January 16 2016 case completed at nvc

It's usually a good thing when they transfer to try to balance the load. It happens every year with one type of petition or other. Back when we filed in 2007 Vermont had a huge backlog and we waited

That sucks but since they haven't made a request for evidence and you were transferred I think it's safe to say it's coming...sorry you had to wait so long.

I am not sure what is going on. I am hoping and praying that we will get approved soon. Whomever had over cases is working extremely slow.

I received my NOA2 approval last night from CSC. I was transferred there on 8/20. Those that are still waiting, it should be very soon for your approvals. Keep the faith and keep praying, all in God's timing.

10/22/2015 - Filed AOS application at Chicago Lockbox.
10/27/2015 - Case received by NVC
11/2/2015 - Received welcome letter.<p>
11/4/2015 - Received receipt notice for I-485 and EAD via text and email
12/07/15 - inquiry on status of biometric
12/21/15 - response via mail that case in pre-processing stage
12/28/15 - inquiry on status of EAD
12/29/15 - response via mail; in suspension until bio is done. Also received bio appointment for 01/12/16.

01/12/16- bio appointment successful

01/12/16-received rfe via mail for joint sponsor and proof of imm. status

Great! Happy for you. My case was transferred 8/27, my PD is 01/05/2015. This month will be 9 months I've been waiting. Hope I hear something soon.

I just checked the updated status for CSC and it is no longer 5 months as of the 31st of July. It now shows October 1 which means that they are no longer meeting their quota. Let's hope this doesn't affect those of us who were recently transferred.

Just called USCIS and demanded to speak to an upper level representative and I found out that I was approved 4 days ago but it hasn't been updated in the system as yet. I feel so blessed right now. It was a long wait to get approved.

Okay wonderful, mine didn't update as well on their site. I actually got the approval notice today in the mail so your approval letter is probably on its way.
