F-1 to Employment

I am a student here on a F-1 visa.

I recently got married to a US citizen.

I would like to apply for permission for employment, I-765. And later do my I-485.

Can I do the separately or do I have to do them together?

What would your recommendation be?

And what forms would I specifically have to fill out?

Look up the guides for adjustment of status. I-130 , I-485, I-693 and I-864 to start with. You have to send I-485 - otherwise there is no basis for approval of the I-765.
