We sent in packet three wondering how long to receive packet 4, most of time lines on here start to get broken up when people get this far. Also how do you get an extension on visa application ours expires on sept 20 not sure we can be completed by then.Ive emailed the consulate these questions but they keep emailing back they need more info (case numbers, passport numbers and scanned copies of passports) which Ive provided, but they send more info needed again and again frustrating. Thanks for any help.

1. Forget about packets.

2. You haven't applied for a visa yet. Your I-129F petition was approved by the USCIS.

3. Your petition is good for a year because the U.S. Embassy Manila will automatically extend it.

4. Call the NVC and get your MNL case number.

5. Schedule an Embassy interview. This is the visa application process.

6. Complete the medical.

HK forum is rather dead, so the mods send them here for some dumb reason, like we can answer questions relating to HK..... get a clue
