Hi everyone, i am heartbroken. My fiance interview is at 7;30 pm and its already 1100 Phil time and still no news from him since he can't have a cell. Is it right to think he has some bad news and just didn't want to tell me yet??? or has anyone had this long to wait for thier interview. Please i need some quick feed bad since i am nauseated at the moment. He is the type of person that he might not want to let me know right away if its bad. Or this is a norm to have waited 4 hours for an interview from the scheduled interview since the line can get pretty long. Pleaseeee... i appreciate your input.

Hi there

My wife (currently) had her K1 interview on July 29th, scheduled for 10:00 AM. Trust me, I feel your desperation because I did not hear from her until 4:30 PM. She said she was interviewed around 4:10 PM. So yes, it's totally possible that he is still sitting there waiting to be called. Don't stress it...just relax and hope for the best. Good luck!

You mean 7:30 am right? Yes, it takes hours get the interview done including the waiting time. I had my B1/B2 visa interview in US Embassy Manila and it took me 3 hours to be out there. The actual CO interview less than 2 minutes. K1 interview process are much longer.

Relax, everything should be fine. You will hear from him soon. Let us know how it goes :)

When I had my interview, it was scheduled at 6:30am, but I got out of there around 11am already. Yes, it usually takes a few hours. If you can't reach his cell phone yet, it means he's still in there, so relax and don't worry.

Just so you know everyone's interview is in a blocked time nobody has their own time and they don't even go in order by when people show up..so even if he got there at 5 to wait it doesn't mean he'd be first to leave. How long do you think it takes in there? Expect 5 maybe more hours....it's all just waiting though. Actual interview is at most 5 minutes.
