I did not exclude that much evidence by far, and I just got approved within 3 months, without any RFE or interview.

I only included the following:

- Bank statements for joint checking and savings accounts for the last 3 months

- proof of car insurance for both of our cars, each with both our names

- Current lease agreement in both our names

- Confirmation of 401K beneficiary

- Confirmation of Life insurance beneficiary

- travel itineraries with both our names on the tickets for our last 2 trips to Germany, including photos

- travel itineraries for other trips within the U.S., plus photos

- Cell phone contract for both of our phones under my wife's name

That's pretty much it, no tax returns, no wills, no affidavits.

No tax returns ? Wow usually people get RFE for that ! Hm maybe I need to review what they want again.

Or you got really lucky !

But you see we didn't get to do any trips that is strong evidence too that you had.

A tip on the tax transcripts for other users that are wondering if you need them or not. They're easy to get, you should get them. I ended up getting them out of the blue after almost a month of waiting for them after I filled out the online form on the IRS' site to request them. No confirmation or anything that they recieved the request, I just got them out of the blue. Even got my congressperson's office involved after the long wait but didn't need to in the end!
