expired green card of petitioner prior to interview schedule

i'm feeling anxious right now especially that next week ill be having my interview and my husbands green card expired just this end of July. Anyone here have idea if it could affect my case?

USCIS:

10-01-2013 Priority date

10-22-2013 I 130 petition application approved and forwarded to NVC

NVC:

11-27-2013 snail mail with Case no. & Invoice ID no. assigned

02-21-2015 NOA case being processed

03-08-2015 choice of agent done

03-12-2015 AOS paid

03-30-2015 mailed AOS and IV package- scan date

04-03-2015 NVC email re receipt notification of AOS & IV package

04-16-2015 NVC email re Choice of agent confirmation and invoice of IV application

04-17-2015 paid IV application

04-22-2015 IV fee status paid and submitted DS 260

04-25-2015 checklist

05-13-2015 scan date

06-18-2015 case complete

06-30-2015 interview letter

07-22-2015 medical exam "PASSED"

08-20-2015 interview "APPROVED"

08-25-2015 VISA on hand

No, his status does not expire when his green card does if he has an unconditional ten year green card.

Thanks for the reply hypnos, im relieved now. Yes he's a holder of 10yr green card. I just dont want any delays anymore, i got everything ready and just waiting for the interview day. Hope it turns out fine. Thanks again
