What is the best way to mail the packet we have for our I-751 packet so NVC will receive it and sign for it? Big Envelope (which would be hard being the size of the packet and folder) or box? does it matter if its one or the other? any info would be greatly appreciated thank you in advancepost-151105-0-52782100-1439654898_thumb.jpgpost-151105-0-37785100-1439654903_thumb.jpg

If it was me....I would take it apart. Two hole punch it at the top and use and ACCO binder to hold it together. Then put tabs at the bottom for the separate parts. Then send it in an envelope.

But, if this is what you think is best, I would send it in a box.

Firstly, I would REMOVE the pic of the cover page that reveal personal identifiers of both you (your full legal name and SIGNATURE!?!?!?) and your wife (full legal name). Do that now!

Take it out of the three ring binder. Take strong string or a shoelace and weave it through the three holes where the binder rings were in a figure 8 pattern. Tie the string in a bow so that the pages can be easily separated. Make sure the A number is on every page.

If you take it out of the binder, you can use a padded envelope - lighter weight!

I contacted the mods for you.

Also, that's a heck of a lot of evidence (and the biggest forum sig I've ever seen). I don't think I even sent a quarter of that at the time.

Take it out of the binder and remove the tabs. Use paper and binder clips to keep things together. I put mine in a box. It was too thick for an envelope.

I'd send it via Fedex/UPS some way that you can accurately track it. I sent my wife's AOS years ago via USPS and regretted it almost immediately. They ended up losing it for almost 2 weeks and the tracking never updated past where I shipped it from.

...Unless you send it to a different address via Express Mail or general courier delivery, in which case you certainly don't need to use USPS.

Where are these other addresses listed? The CSC and VSC addresses listed for mailing the I-751 are PO Boxes > http://www.uscis.gov/i-751

EDIT>

For anyone wanting other addresses in case the PO Box will not work for express/courier, I just quickly googled, and this is the address for the CSC>

24000 Avila Rd, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677

And the VSC, you can just leave off the PO Box. That is their address.

I'm not particularly sure they want you to send it those addresses, otherwise they would have listed them right on the I-751 instructions like they do with the I-130 wouldn't they?
