Packet 4

I know I'm being impatient, but I submitted my DS-160 and readiness form 31 July, Medical 3 August, The Embassy received my case from NVC 4 August,

6 August they received my medical results. 11 August they sent packet 3. Now I would have thought they would just have gone ahead and sent packet 4 because by that point they had all they were asking for in packet 3. Of course I have no idea how it works at the embassy, but I guess I'm slightly concerned that I submitted my readiness form before my case was at the embassy, I have looked at other timelines where people have done that and it didn't seem to cause a problem.

From what I've read people receive packet 4 about 2 weeks after the medical but that would be this coming Monday and since there has been no date change since 11 August I'm guessing it hasn't been sent.

So, do I submit my readiness form again and does that override the previous one?

I guess 7.5 months at TSC didn't teach me patience!

I'd say wait. You pushed it and they may not have been quite ready to put you in line until they logged in your case. And it's not even Monday yet. See what next week brings. ::Sigh:: Not what you wanted to hear, but it's going to fall into place.

What is the wedding date you gave on your Readiness form?

You're right, I'll wait.

Oh my readiness form, that damn thing, I was filling it in and hadn't put the wedding date in and I have no idea what happened, must've pressed enter and it submitted it with the wedding date blank, just great! I submitted another one straight away with a wedding date of end September but I don't really know if it overrides it.

If it helps we have not received ours either. I did notice that folks that had their medicals around 7/24 have updated their packet 4 dates on 8/11. So we are hoping to hear within the next week or so.

Our story...DS-160 and readiness form submitting on 7/9, Medical on 7/31, Medical received on 8/10. Wedding date of 9/10 if at all possible.

We are trying to work to get married so that we can make it to England for Christmas so we need to get the AOS submitted to get the AP back. We only have time with my fiance's son 4 times a year and we will have missed our November visit because Tim is not able to travel. Ugh! There is always something with this process.

Bless you for your long wait at TSC!
