I also spoke to a Supervisor last night at 11:40 PM and was given his name and my case was approved over the phone because I was in NVC since April...I just need to wait for an E-Mail confirmation within 48 hours.............I will believe it when I get it....... It seems that you cant get to a supervisor until you are 35 BUISNESS days after the 30 days quoted in the DS-260 confirmation......

I meant I have been at NVC since Feb. 2015... Not April... April is when I sent in the AOS docs... I look foreward to seeing what you just said...

I noticed that on your timeline; long wait.. hopefully nearing end of the wait.

Never knew we can get supervisors around midnight. How'd you get to speak to one..is there a magic set of words that works?

I cried like a baby and I had a sympathetic ear who transferred me to a second shift supervisior who was about to go home.. It was his last good deed for the day.. He even talked to me about how he traveled to Colombia and Ecuador a few years ago.. Gave me his first name and said if there is anything else I need to call and ask for him by name and will be transferred to him ASAP....Go Figure... They are real people after all......

Just thought I'd add my 2 cents. I had sent my paperwork and got a second checklist needing one more thing. Basically a letter from me explaining my self employment. Once I sent that, I got notified that it will take up to 30 days to be completed. I waited the 30 days and started calling...they just kept saying it was processing. She told me they were behind and that I needed to just keep waiting. 42 days after them acknowledging receipt of my papers, I called again and they still said processing, but that they would now have it escalated to a supervisor review. I thought OH WONDERFUL, yes...go ahead and do that. So she put me on hold while she made the request...then came back on the line and said, Ok, I've escalated it for a supervisor review...it will take 2 to 41 days!! WHAT? I told her..NO, no, no. I was only supposed to be 30 days in the first line which means I MUST be due to be reviewed any day now. I don't want to go to the end of the supervisor que and have it take up to 41 days!! I asked her to please put it back to how it was. She said she couldn't. ugh. I couldn't sleep. Called them the next day and explained what had happened and asked to speak to a supervisor, she said no one was available. I called again the next day and explained the situation again to another rep. She told me that its true that I cant have it reversed, BUT that the supervisor has not pulled it for review yet....that it is still in the original cue. She said the supervisor will literally have a bunch pulled at once to sit in their office while they work on them. But until that happens, it can still be done by the reg reps. She said to cross my fingers and hope that it gets worked on before it gets pulled by the supervisor. Well...2 days later, sure enough it was done. NOT by the supervisor, just regular processing. I guess the moral of the story, is...if you are already close to the date you should be seeing case complete, I would just be patient and not risk getting it put into another que!

There is no special words for supervisor to take up your case. We have talked with a supervisor twice and the same thing he said like other said oh u have to wait till thirty days we cant revew your documents on phone. We got NVC confirmation email on 30th july stating they have received our documents om 27th july and we have to wait till 30 days till we get the case complete. Now reading all these post where you guys manage to get a case reveiw over the phone is merely being lucky i would say and we on the other hand might not be that lucky to get a case review over the phone really frustrating seriously :/

I finally got a hold with NVC yesterday! After calling 30 times in a row and waiting 60 min on hold 3 times, call drops couple of times....Anyway.. So what they said was they are very sorry that our case hasn't been reviewed until now. She said she is gonna put a note on it and we should call back in 2 weeks again if we don't hear anything back. Well I'm gonna keep calling everyday until i get my case complete!! If i only knew calling NVC would give me a chance for case complete....So now at least I know they received my documents...It was just sitting there somewhere with the piles of other applications. This is really bad that our reunion with our families depends on luck!! So GOOD LUCK everyone!

I think there is no exact way to do this. It doesn't mean yours will take 41 days. I read so many people got their case complete in couple of days after the supervisory review. So there is always hope that yours might take a little time too! Good luck!!

The reason why the supervisor completed my case over the phone was because the last check list they sent me was a repeated one, so she requested my file when I called her back 3 weeks later and she had my file on her desk and checked it there and told me everything was ok that she was putting in a case complete, to wait for an interview... But a week later still no date ?

I see well I hope u get a case complete soon right now I called NVC and talked with some female rep she was not very helpful and more over she confused me by telling that DS 260 form and All other documents will be reviewed separately and both will require 30 days each. I said what there was no such thing mentioned in the email NVC sent me but she keep on saying the same thing than I asked her politely if she could do review of my documents over the phone and could tell me that my case documents are complete and there seem nothing missing in it so that I can avoid any upcoming checklist again she said oh we cant do telephonic reviews I said lady I have searched a few websites where people said they manage to pull a telephonic review why cant you that she said oh we don't have files on our computers we have to review the files physically she even denied my request for a supervisor review. Now I am wondering what the hell is going on I am so much depressed right now :/
