Marriage Certificate Lists Different Address

Hey guys, we were in the process of switching apartments when we applied for marriage license and certificate, and we gave the address of the new apartment when we applied for the marriage license because we thought we were going to move there. However, we decided that we were better off living at the first apartment for schooling reasons for the kids. We still kept the second apartment since it's closer to my work and helps with my commute.

So my question is, we are about to send in our application for adjustment of status for K1 visa, and in all the documents, we list the address of our first apartment (where we are now permanently residing). However, our marriage certificate has our second address listed on it, and there's no way to change this.

Do you guys think that the discrepancy in addresses between the appilcation and the marriage certificate this will be a problem? I was about to send in the application, but I don't want to cause any problems down the line because of this issue.

Thank you!!!

It doesn't matter what address you used for the marriage license or that it shows on the marriage certificate. Someone could live somewhere, use that address and move before filing for AOS. You use the address where you currently reside and will receive mail at.

Your situation jumps me to our crazy situation... We are from New York, we got married in Virginia and we live in Colorado so we filed there... My husband is in the army so we got married while he was in AIT... I used to go back and forth every weekend to see him and now we live in Colorado so our marriage license/cert is issued in Virginia with a New York address... Totally irrelevant but funny
