It will be a lot harder to destroy ISIS in 10 years.

Best way to destroy ISIS is to pull all military out of the region and circle the region with orphanages, schools, baby hospitals, etc. Rebuild infrastructure everywhere that's not ISIS owned and leave the ISIS owned areas out of it. Make the surrounding region intensely grateful to the western world for their advanced infrastructure, lower maternal death rates, etc. ISIS proof them and make ISIS look like idiots.

And while he's at it, Trump should come up with a plan for North Korea. Maybe we can invade there too. A two front war would be a great way to start a Presidency. And then he can head to Africa, there's oil there that can be taken for the U.S.

You are king spook. How do you contain isis and keep them from spreading across the Middle East and Europe.

An ISIS firing squad has gunned down more than 300 civil servants – including at least 50 women – in Mosul, Iraq, a rival rebel group and locals have claimed.

They were slaughtered at the Galzani army camp on Saturday for being ‘apostates and infidels’, according to a spokesman for the National Crowd militant group which battles ISIS in the Niveneh Province.

All 300 reportedly worked for Iraq’s Electoral Commission which has since urged the UN and other human rights groups to help ‘stop the slaughter and crimes against the Iraqi people’.

It is not clear why the civil servants were in the ISIS-controlled city but local media reports suggest they had worked there in relative peace over the last few years.

The Commission says the extremists beheaded another group of its employees in Mosul before slaughtering 300 innocent workers, the EFE news agency reported.

How? Every time a western gun martyrs someone, it's more proof that the western world is out to get the islamic world. Take away their proof that the western world is out to get the islamic world and suddenly they have nothing with which to get traction.

So build orphanages, baby hospitals, seniors' homes, water treatment plants and make sure all of it is blessed by local imams and that locals are trained in the correct use of these things and that everything possible is overseen by muslim people who can make sure that nothing is being built or done that would break islamic law. Let the islamic people feel support and love from the west rather than more and more and more and more guns all the time, more bombs.

Sending in jackbooted thugs to shoot down the militants hasn't worked, but if militants start suicide bombing baby hospitals because that's the only symbol of 'western' anything available to them, I guarantee that they'll lose all their traction with the locals. And at least a baby hospital can't be stolen by an extremist and used to shoot a western soldier, unlike guns.

From the perspective of the people that use their presence to mobilize militants, that's what they are. We see them as fighting for freedom and democracy, extremists see them as jackbooted thugs and use that image to mobilize. Take away the image, you take away their power. It's really that simple. I'm not saying our soldiers ARE jackbooted thugs, I am saying that is the image that we keep giving the extremist leaders to use and that it's getting our soldiers killed.

Do you like people dying fruitlessly? Because I am not a fan of that, personally. I like when our soldiers come home.

And I'll bet that it's lost them a lot of support in that area, if you talked to people on the ground there and not just whoever makes a nice sound byte. You can't destroy infrastructure and maintain support longterm unless you're the only name in the area. Change the direction of the funding that has been poured into the middle east. Make it about hospitals, orphanages, water treatment, etc. Have the ONLY westerners with guns there literally be defending hospitals and other bits of infrastructure--not taking land and rooting out terrorist cells, just defending infrastructure. Watch as ISIS kills itself with this kind of BS.
