Hi, i am sooo worried. I made the interview schedule already so I got the appointment confirmation...now when I checked/reviewed the details, I saw that the DS-160 confirmation # is different from what I have. It is from the B1/B2 I applied last Dec 2014. What I did is I cancelled the appointment schedule. What must I do? I need advise ASAP as I am planning to take the medical tomorrow.

PLEASE HELP

Thanks,

REDG

You'll need to go back in and reschedule the interview appointment and you need to be aware (go slow and look everything over 2 and 3 times before making a selection) of the dates as you really don't want to do the medical too soon out from your interview. Do your medical about 7-10 days before your interview date.

Its good now. I called USEM first thing earlier. I was told that each time I will make an interview appintment, I have to call USEM so they can update the corresponding DS-160 that I am applying for. This is only applicable for those who are not a first timer applicant. I will take medical tomorrow and booked AUg 26 as my interview appointment. I hope and pray that everything will be smooth :-)

Thanks for the help!

That is no issue at all, just ignore it and bring your current DS-160 confirmation page to the interview, they will update it...all is fine. You did not need to cancel your appointment.

Hey, i am done with the day1 medical...i will be back tomorrow for the immunization. Is ds-260 needed or just the ds-160? Thanks!

With the K-1, you need a COPY of the confirmation page from the DS-160

You have no need for it personally. The CO uses it to bring up your record when you are at the interview. Don't be concerned that you can't find it, everything will be fine.
