Tiny Error on DS-160

Hi VJers,

I just finished filling up my DS-160. I have made a slight error on my mother's name. I have written it as "MARIA" and my birth certificate has "MA." on it. My G-325A also has "MA" and not "MARIA"

Should I just leave it and ask the CO during my interview to change it or is it best to just re-do the whole thing?

Mention it to the CO during the interview, they can easily correct. That is not anything that would require you to complete a new DS-160

DS-160 applications submitted on or after November 1, 2010: Enter your application ID number and answer additional questions as prompted to access and correct your application. I have not heard from anyone that has tried this. So I am not sure, but it did come from the Dept of State Consular Affairs

Mention it to the CO during the interview, they can easily correct. That is not anything that would require you to complete a new DS-160

I would do as Hank has suggested.
