neriel19, what do you mean after 30 days? How did you find this out? Did you have to call California Service Center and ask about your case? Thanks.

after we receive the hard copy NOA2 i counted 30 days from there. I Emailed NVC and ask if they receive our case. we never call. The response was slow and didn't even think they will reply until a month later we received their reply and informed us that we will be adviced for futher processing once the priority date is about to be current something like that. They provided us our case number and invoice number in the email. We are currently waiting for the welcome letter.

Thanks neriel..My hubby tried calling several times for case number but he's not getting thru with nvc.

sony119 thats why I didn't bother calling.. and tried the email inquiry instead :)

Thanks. I am waiting for NOA2 right now. Can I check the same receipt number from NOA1 to find out the status on USCIS website for NOA2? How can you check the status of NOA2? Right now, on USCIS website, it shows as Case was Received.

As of now, its only up to NOV 2014 PD's received a Welcome Letter from NVC.. Don't worry guys you will all get there.. :) You will receive your Welcome Letter atleast 6-8 months before your PD will become current, me personally I waited 8 months before getting mine. I suggest while waiting try to gather all necessary documents need so that you are all good to go once you receive your Welcome Letter. Goodluck to everyone on your Visa Journey! its really a long wait, but its all gonna be worth it once its done.. :):):)

Sometimes this process can be a bit frustrating!!!! But I am reminding myself of the blessing that I have of having him as my husband. This is so difficult!

I have my case number got it over the phone, but no welcome letter. Every time I check the case status online it says something about a letter but I haven't recorded one yet. Anybody else?
