Case Status Updated

I hope someone can give me some kind of reassurance at this point of our visa journey.

I checked the status update on CEAC last weekend and it had changed from 02 July 2015 to 31 July 2015. Status said 'READY' in green. It explains that I should wait for my interview letter and follow the instructions. A week later and still no letter. I have tried calling the Embassy only to be told that I can't speak to anyone about this and that I have to look at the Embassy website to contact them but only to submit an email if my question isn't already answered on the website. Then to wait up to 5 days for them to reply I have heard of cases where the letter never arrived and they missed their interview and had to wait months to get a new one scheduled.

I will probably have to get another letter of intent because our 4 months is almost over, and that only has a months grace on the date and signature so you are not given much time to play with.

So my question is:

Roughly how long from the status update do people generally receive their P4 letter?

Just want to stop worrying

Or does anyone know a number I can call to find out if my interview date has been scheduled?

For London:

Have you completed

1) application

2) medical

3) readiness form

Without those, you don't get an interview. What is the date of the last thing you did?

Was it more than two weeks ago?

Email the embassy on the contact form using the reason --not covered on website. Tell them your concern of lost letter. NVC will also know the date if one has been assigned. 603-334-0700

This thread in the UK FORUM shows how long between medical and interview day. Go to the last post for cumulative data. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/549078-medical-to-interview-date-how-long-2015-data/

I would suggest that August 13-14 would be when you might hope to get a letter. Anything sooner would be really fast processing. Your medical results were delayed waiting on you, so that put your interview assignment on pause. Nothing to worry about yet.

When looking at that medical to interview thread, use July 28 as your "medical date" for estimating purposes.

Hi, if you don't mind me asking...did you finally receive your letter or get the interview date from NVC. Thanks and best of luck at your interview.

My fiance called NVC today because I am impossible when it comes to waiting. He spoke first to someone who didn't have the details we were requesting but she put us through to someone else who gave us all the information. The P4 was sent out on the 7th August so I am assuming it will be here by this weekend.

P.S NVC were better to deal with than the Embassy in this instance.

Best of luck with your visa journey x

My fiancee said that they sai the same thing so he asked if he could speak to a special case worker and so he was redirected and got the information from there.

Wouldn't hurt to try them again. The wait was stressing me out and now I'm calm an relaxed LOL

Thanks, I spoke to 4 people. The last one was very helpful and could see the medical was received but just no date yet. I will try again next week if we have not received a letter. I was fine but my fiancé is getting antsy now and is ready to come over.
