They received my i-130 on march 6, 2015 and 5 months later (right now), the status still "Case Was Received" as below. Is this normal? This is vermont SC. I've been waiting and waiting..

Case Was Received

On March 6, 2015, we received your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number xxxxxxx, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by April 5, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

~~moved to progress reports from process and procedures~~

Pretty normal. An I-130 normally takes between 4-8 months.

That's normal. I think you can start calling them now since it's been 5 months. Either that or wait for another month, but the earlier the better.
