Hi every one. We are getting close to our interview which is the 20th of this Aug but while we are gathering our calls and chat history, we decided to change our screen names to our real names before we could print it.

To our dismay, our real names were not reflected to the months or a year or calls and conversation we did. No matter what we did, it was reflecting the our made up names!!! Please help me! Any idea on what i can do to be able to prove to make the immigration officer believe us??? Anyone had this experience? please give us your input. Need asap.

I didn't go through this but... Maybe go to your different skype profiles and print them off so it shows it is you? The email addresses, the names, DOB on profiles, locations..And then I wouldn't bring it up unless you're asked.

I met my husband through eharmony and continued our chat through yahoo after and he never used his real name in chat but his screen name. Never had a problem with the consul during the interview, as long as you have ALL the legal documents correct. You have pictures and other proof of relationship, don't you? Plane ticket when he/she visited you? That might help too. Hope you'll have positive outcome. :-)

We didn't use our real names as well. We have usernames but it's close to our real name.

I have taken a lot of screenshots of our Skype video chats because I've read that I would be needing them in the future.

Screenshot Skype photos of you and fiancee while the IDs appear. Like the photos I attached(taken from Google). As you will see in the photos, the Skype IDs appear with your video.

If you are so concerned about this then your chat log can be edited as a word document to remove your "alias" and replace it with your legal name. Go to the home tab in your word document, to the top at the far right there is the caption "Replace", after clicking on to replace then two box appears - Find what (type in your alias), Replace with (type in your legal name), click the highlighted tab at the bottom of the box (replace all). In five seconds all your alias names are removed and replaced by your legal name. Pretty simple if you follow thess instructions and please remember to save the document after these changes.
