CSC Processing of Form I-129F (K-1)

I continue to speak weekly with my senator's office on the slow processing of K-1 visa's at the Texas Service Center v. California. Would someone please confirm or deny a statement he received when he spoke to a director at the USCIS headquarters in DC. This individual said that California only recently started processing K-1 visa petitions as a means to relieve the processing windows at the others. I do not believe this to be true, but absent my walking through all teh forums, would someone tell me if the CSC has always been processing K-1 visa petitions or roughly when it started?

our K 1 went to California way back in 2009

However, they had a break in a water line inside the facility with major damage. They may have had to quit and now are back in business.

As of the end of March all newly filed Fiance visa cases are being processed by CSC. Anyone who filed previous are still stuck at TSC. This will be for an unknown amount of time. An individual authorized on behalf of POTUS confirmed this change.

Before this change was announced, Fiance visas used to be processed based on the state the petitioner lived in. CSC handled the west coast, and TSC handled the east and southern coast.

So CSC has been handling fiancé visas for some time. Now, they are handling all of them (except for those still waiting and stuck at TSC).
