IRS Tax Transcripts

I was going over our checklist cover sheet that we received from the NVC and noticed that they have listed IRS Tax Transcripts next to Federal Income Tax Return on the list. My question is will the NVC require tax transcripts or will federal tax returns + W2s + evidence of income be enough?

You can use either tax transcripts, or copies of returns along with copies of W2's and 1099's. Many use either with no issues.

will work just fine.

Is it ok if we submit both tax transcripts and tax returns + w2 + evidence of income?

It depends. You submit W-2 if you need to show the individual income is different from total income. (this is when you are using one person's income but that person filed taxes with spouse)
