Hi, I hope you guys can help me or give me information on what's the next thing to do. When my fiance called NVC, he was told that our papers were already forwarded by US Embassy, Manila and was atually recieved July 21 or 23. He was provided a case # that start with MNL2015______. From then on, we have not received any update or anything from the Embassy. What's the normal process and timelines? Should it be me who will received an update or my fiance? What's the next step?

Thank you very much. I would really appreciate your advise.

Hi greenbaum, my fiance will mail to me the exact copy of the I-129f package he submitted to USCIS since you mentioned that we can proceed with the medical and ibterview sched without the letter that contains the MNL2015 case #. Actually this August is our 4th month since we have filed the petition and we got our nvc case# sometime before end of July. You think once i have completed/gathered the necessary docs for the interview I should immediately sched an appointment? Or is there a timing or anything like that? Just wondering. Thanks!!!!

You don't really need the any timing, now that you have the MNL case # you can 1) assemble the required documents for the interview and the medical and at the same time schedule your interview or 2) assemble the required documents for both interview and medical and then schedule your interview though waiting to schedule your interview might prolong the process as I have seen that there are barely any available slots for August and September so the longer you wait to schedule your interview the farther the interview date you will get and that might complicate things with your NOA2 validity(I might be mistaken) but definitely the availability of the interview dates will get pushed further ahead the longer you wait to schedule your interview.

Go ahead and follow the directions for scheduling your interview and your medical. You do not need to wait. Gather your documents during the time that you schedule the interview and the time that you have your interview. It will be at least a month to two months before you will have your interview.

Time is wasting. The sooner you get moving the sooner you will be with him.

To schedule your medical appointment you will need the interview confirmation page that you printed and the emailed confirmation page from NVC with your MNL#. If you do not have the NVC letter then take a screen shot from the CEAC page from here. Again, you do not have to wait for your NOA2.

The CEAC page must have some sort of identifying connotations. Look again. If so you can use it.

Greenbaum,

I don't see any identifying connotations in the ceac page, will this suffice for the St. Lukes Medical? The last time I called NVC, I asked when will I get a notification from them and they said in a week and it's been more than a week, should I be concerned? I attached the ceac screenshot. Thank you.

You do not need a copy of the I-129F package for the interview, no reason at all to send it. If your fiance were to send anything from the petition package he could EMAIL you a copy of HIS G-325A as it will information to help you answer questions during the interview and CFO seminar. All the rest is a wait of time and money.
