I E-mailed The Embassy about my packet 3 and embassy replayed to my E-mail :-)

" Kindly note that in order to proceed with her case, she needs to provide us with the following documents:

1. New DS260 form

Effective September 1, 2013, the DS-260 Immigrant Visa Electronic Application will replace the paper-based DS-230 Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration (parts I and II). Hence, you should complete the new on line DS-260 application form available of the following website: https://ceac.state.gov/iv/.

Please fill out My Invoice ID Number is field with the number that will be given to you by the NVC and you can contact the NVCinquiry@state.gov to get this number. Once you complete the form on line, you should notify us directly through the following email: consularcairoiv@state.gov. We will then process your case to conclusion.

2. Medical Examination

Once she do that, she may contact us so that we can schedule her so she can sign in front of the officer at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo.

According to what I been reading I suppose to fill out DS160 not DS260

He didn't mention anything about Packet 3 ?

When I checked online to fill out DS260 form it's not giving me the option to fill DS260 just DS160 :-(

Hello to all my old friends here at VJ ...we are all settled back here in America.Things are going really well and we are both very happy .Hubbys job transfer from the Netherlands to the USA worked out in the end. God works in mysterious ways.We spent 2 months living with my parents and have just settled into our own place this past week.

I thought I would just update you all...I am still checking in on the ones still stuck here in immigration hell ...you are not forgotten . Special hello to Soloenta for without here support I would have lost my friggin mind.Praying that you all move smoothly and quickly(yeah right) through the process.

Yes ....we are still in immigration hell...just waiting for issued.

Another day, another 24 hours of emotional torture.

Best of luck to everyone waiting for their visas to be issued! We pray for all of us to get our ISSUEDs NOW!!!

I know it seems this will never end, I had a conversation with my father today and he just uplifted my spirit. I'm so very blessed to have the parents I do and I thank God for letting me still have the joy of being with them. Mind you I want to strangle them sometimes hahahahaaaa but hey they feel the same way about me !

Can't wait to not have this thread up because there is no one in distress.

After 9 months of AP we found out this week that my husband's visa was denied. I didn't really expect the worst so I'm not sure what happens from here. I'm just so sick of all of this.

First I'm so very sorry your going through this torture my heart just breaks for

you because I know how confused and lonely you feel right now.

I don't understand why it took them 9 months to deny the Visa it doesn't make

any sense to me but then they make no sense at all.

Since 9 months have passed i'm not sure what your supposed to do. Not sure if

it's the same. So if your denied you have two options one file a new I-130 and

address all their red flags or wait and let the process take it's course. The end

result is the same because they wont just give your husband the Visa if you file

a new I-130 but I might be wrong here.

It's a waiting game and I pray we get another chance soon.

Hang in there sweet heart and if you can seek out the help of a good lawyer,

consult with one to see what your next step is. I'm not sure!

I honestly sit here heart broken I just don't understand these people my brain just can't attempt to understand what they do. I'm just shocked and I'll be praying for you and Natasha and others going through this nightmare , none of us deserve this.

Well, we got an email back, but it's basically the same thing...but they did send a link to their customer service dept. Maybe I'll call it tomorrow. Blessings to everyone for visas ISSUED! Have a great weekend...Hugs, Natasha

I answered both your posts but I'm on my laptop and I hit something I shouldn't have which to this day I don't know what I could be doing wrong. I HATE LAPTOPS!!!

Anyway thank you for making me laugh when i don't want to and putting a smile on my face. i hope and pray everyday you get your Visa issued this just isn't right.

Thanks Soloenta for your kind words, and prayers coming our way YOU ARE A Sweetheart! I came back today to announce, finally, after 7 weeks, I am officically DONE with my first class at Grand Canyon University!! WooHooo I did it, now only a dozen more to go..., lol Can you tell I have mixed emotions about it...hahahaha Well, that's my personal update, no ceac updates, YET!!!! But you all know I am patiently waiting for them

It makes me feel better when I'm in control and on this you have full control to take or not take any more classes. Prayer does work so let's keep praying for each other.

I thank you so much for your love and support and for thinking of my family at a time when you are still dealing with everything you have dealt. Many people believe after immigration life gets easier. I can say thats not always the case. My spouse has had the hardest time adjusting to living here. Given what I know now Solenta I would rather give someone like you a chance to have your family together and to be happy. Only God knows why things are the way they are and I pray that God will move and give a miracle to your family by granting your husband a visa. I pray you will find comfort in the those who love and care about you the most until that time comes. I really do ask God to bless you due to the many ways you have been here to encourage and support others who come and go on this thread.
