I have seen this on FB by numerous people. How can people be upset about what this D bag did when children are starving etc.

Because folks only care about what they can relate too. That's why you got folks crying on National Television about Cecil(Jimmy Kimmel) or getting mad(Betty White), but when Dubose was shot in cold blood, there wasn't any grief.

Really? A lion in Africa was killed on a hunt. Folks have been asking for the dentist's head. There's a bill in Congress trying to get passed right now because of this to protect lions.

When TM was killed I don't recall Jimmy or Betty White saying anything about it. Maybe you could post something to enlighten me.

Let's take race out for a second. Look at Sandy Hook. Kids and teachers slaughtered. And Congress couldn't do anything because folks want the right to have guns. Theatre shooting that took the lives of 19 people and wounded 70, but let's not say anything because the 2nd is just too important to amend.

I don't watch the news so I don't know much about the lion hunt. I did read a little about it on a hunting forum.

IMO this lion story should not even make the news. If the lion had killed someone we would have never heard about it.

I read up a little more. Why do you feel he is a d bag? Do you believe anyone who hunts lions is a d bag?

I'm not answering for NB but I think the fact that he didn't follow any sort of fair chase guideline is the main reason hunters think the guy is in the wrong. Both he and his guide have been suspended from SCI. They used a vehicle to drag bait to get the animal off the land where it was protected. Once it was outside the park the "hunter" wounded the lion with a crossbow and then spent the next 40 hours tracking it before he was able to finally finish it with a rifle.

Now the guy is claiming there was a lot he didn't know about the animal and the hunt. I don't buy it at all, this guy had hunted African big game many times before.

I think that anyone who hunts a lion the way this guy did kicks all hunters right in the nuts, I for one don't appreciate being kicked in the nuts.

To be fair, Betty white is a known animal rights activist. In fact, all of the Gilden Girls were except for Estelle Getty. Animals are just her racket.
