How to indicate at NVC that I don't want them to delay my mothers application case complete or interview because of my father's birth certificate issues.

Sorry this question never got answered.

This is IR-5.

I read on their instructions that they schedule parent's interviews together.

They are separate applications.

they do not come as a package, they are not approved as a couple.
