"After you have paid the necessary fees and have submitted the required immigrant visa application, Affidavit of Support, and supporting documents to the National Visa Center (NVC), they will review your file for completeness. Once your case becomes qualified for an interview, the NVC will work with the appropriate U.S. Embassy or Consulate to schedule an appointment for you.

An interview appointment letter is sent to you (the applicant), as well as your petitioner (sponsor), and your agent/attorney (if applicable) to notify you and them of the date, time, and location of the interview. " http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/interview.html

NVC coordinates to Embassy for available interview date for you. NVC will send the interview notification letter to you. NVC will forward/send the documents you submit to Embassy. Once you have your interview letter from NVC, if you want to make adjustments on your interview details, you will contact the Embassy. I hope it will help. Good luck.

thanks.. we have memorized all the documentation from top to bottom and reverse and been dancing all the music these agency plays for us.

I also know and read what you mentioned but every time nvc agents open their mouth something stupid and wrong info is fetched our way.

few weeks back they drive us crazy for 12 hrs saying that we were in Ap at nvc which was like crazy answer from nvc.. 12 hrs of crazyness we found that particular agent was new and had wrong choice of words when we spoke to senior agent tier 2 ( guess that's what they call them)

thanks for the info lolawoods
