USCIS Immigrant Fee

Hello everyone, just to be sure:

I just paid the GC immigrant fee (US$165).

My "case status" shows a "LifeCycle for US Immgrant Fee" which now is in "Optimized". Is it going to be in that status until I arrive to the States?

I ask this because the website shows 2 parts left after "optimized", which are "Closed" and then "reopened".

Sorry if it is a silly question, but it's just to be sure :)

Thanks!

It will be in that status until the card starts getting produced - the production process is triggered when you enter but will likely take around a month, sometimes longer. When the card is sent to you it will move to closed.

If you never receive the card (while in either optimized or closed stages) then you will have to contact them and it will go to reopened...hopefully that won't happen for you.
