Hi guys.. I was wondering if someone can shed some light to my situation.

I got my visa approved and issued, My husband moved to other state (Arizona-Vegas) last month. And im wondering if I can update my address at POE because in my ds260 its arizona. Should I do a change of address form online for USCIS, before or after I have entered the US?

forever-infinity or Hank,

What was Hank's suggestion?

I'll be in the same situation if our visa is approved as I will be moving from my family's house and get an apartment before my fiancee flies to the US.

Thanks in advance!

You can go to the USCIS website and do the address update online (don't think you will have an issue, but not being in the USA never know), make sure to print a copy of the confirmation when done. And when clearing POE make sure to inform the immigration office.

Thanks for links Greenbaum and Hank!

Going through that site, I see:

Is this change of address for an application or petition currently in progress?

So for K1 applicants, is the petition considered in progress if the beneficiary has her approved visa but hasn't gone through POE yet?

The address change can be made at anytime up to and until her POE interview.

The visa validity is controlled by the medical exam date. From that date, the visa (if she has it in her hands) is good for one entry into the US but she has to be on US soil before the expiration date of the visa which is normally 6 months from the medical. So if she has her medical and she passes it on that visit no worries as it gives her plenty of time to be on US soil if you don't delay your interview. If you have problems with medical or the interview which causes additional processing, then the clock is still ticking but your visa is delayed and now you might have 1 week or 2 months or a month to be on US soil.

I can't tell you anything more till you complete some of these steps (medical and interview).

Say no to that one as you have everything from USCIS... for now.

Wait until you are home, then get online and complete the AR-11, print a copy ... then go to sleep for 3 days. ;)
