it seems that Cairo embassy is one of those odd ones that requires the I-134 to be notarized.

although it says in the e-mail it can notarized in U.S , or at the consular officer in the embassy . but how then ?

any one who sent packet 3 recently faced this issue ?

*the problem is that my fiancee already sent it without notarization and that's so weird to hear from the embassy since it's said in the instructions that this form does NOT need notarization .

Each embassy can have rules above and beyond what immigraiton asks for

such as morocco has 2 criminal investigation reports

They should post any additional requirements on country web page

it would be the country rules not US immigration

Really getting something notarized in the USA is so easy....I would print another copy and get it notarized, then have it if they need it.
