Phone number is 202-663-1225 . Press 1 then 0. DOS is Department of State and they can check to see if your case has been received by NVC. DOS is easy to talk with since the waiting is around 3 minutes. call the National Visa Center first if you can't get through try this other number

The National Visa Center number will start with three letters that start with the consulate you're going to be interviewing At

LND you can ask someone else from the UK but I think that the three letters

You ask her case number and ID number they're two separate things in case number let you track your visa to the consulate and your ID number I believe you put ON your DS 160

If you go to the Visa Section of the Department of State there a drop down box and it tells you the first three letters of the country that you're applying your visa for I looked it up for Morocco CSB but I saw someone else's post LND for United Kingdom

You have over 20 days it's gone by I'm sure you're going to have to find out if you have an interview date already set up in UK I don't think they're going to make you wait two months for it you have four months from the time your petition is approved from USCIS to the time you supposed to have your interview so if your petition was approved June 26 the clock is ticking you have to have you have you done by 4 months from that date or console official have to extend it so I suggest if you can get someone to call for you you can have someone call for you just as long They know your information petitioner or beneficiary both can call so if you can't call have your other half call

send an email to the UK consulate requesting your National Visa Center case number and your packet for your medical and your interview and ask them for your interview date at least you'll know some more than you know now

The U.K. Embassy won't schedule your interview until they have your medical results, ds-160 and readiness form. I am the beneficiary and I rang NVC from the U.K. I was able to obtain my LND case number and book my medical.

You should call them ASAP. It is most likely already at the embassy and waiting for you to complete the next steps :)

After you do the adjustment of status in in the United States that's why you have to be more aware what You need to turn into USCIS an attorney yes they are very helpful but it's about $5000 from adjustment of status to lifting of conditions I know I've been through it before

Like you posted every country does something different I know someone that had an interview scheduled leave before they had a medical results so it's probably country-specific you should always ask someone from your region
