Welcome to another monthly thread for those going through NVC. Good luck to all! Please read everything below and refer to it throughout your NVC journey, whether this is your first month at NVC or your third :idea:

NVC will be closed on the following day(s) due to federal holidays: NO HOLIDAYS IN AUGUST!! They are open every business day (Monday-Friday) this month.

Before posting questions, please read the wiki I wrote on the NVC process here. Once you're done, read it one or two more times to really understand it ;) Don't forget to also read the official form instructions as well as USCIS and NVC's websites!

I will be much less active in answering posts in these monthly threads, so don't bother asking me questions directly and please don't send me PMs with questions. If you send me a PM with a question that can be posted here, I will NOT reply. Just post them here for everyone to see and someone will come along to answer. Remember to be patient (re: just post once and wait) ;)

And if for whatever reason, you can't find the answer, try searching both on this website and on Google. It's amazing what you can find if you search ;)

If you're wondering about time frames, look at the fellow members right here in this thread! Study their signatures/timelines and make notes. VJ also has this awesome page. Use it! I sure did during my process :)

And once you've got a case complete, please join Dwheels's case complete/interview thread (currently September), here.

NVC still schedules the interview at the Embassy and not the Embassy or the individual right?

I take it the NVC will send me a letter that I will need to include in the documents sent to them?

In the wiki guide there is mentiion of a bar code document, which one is that?

I wanna thank saylin for her support to everyone. ....

A case number was assigned on July 23 and I submitted DS261 on July 30 but still I cant sign in to the payment portal to pay AOS fee.....is there anything I should do other than waiting....???

I hope its my last month here!

My docs are already being reviewed.

But I submitted my ds260 today after technical issues of 2 months. Did anybody knows how long it will take till cc?

I got checklist for the ds260 missing on may 21, finaly able to complete it on july 6th, ( 26 days ago ) . Until now no case complete .

How long is it taking everyone to get a confirmation CC email from NVC after the 3 N/A's show up?

08-06-14 : Married

08-22-14 : I-130 Sent

08-27-14 : NOA1

01-16-15 : NOA2

02-24-15 : NVC Received

02-28-15 : Submit DS-261 (originally)

04-03-15 : Resubmit DS-261 (DONT TOUCH THE LINK WHEN WAITING FOR DS-261 TO BE REVIEWED!!!!)

04-13-15 : AOS Invoice Paid

04-14-15 : IV Invoice Paid

05-21-15 : Sent AOS & IV Package

05-26-15 : Scan Date

06-21-15 : Received checklist

07-02-15 : New scan date

07-25-15 : Logged onto CEAC and saw three N/A's!

08-18-15 : Requested Expedite

08-20-15 : Expedite under review
