Open bank account on B1/B2

Hello everyone

I'm on NVC phase for a CR1/IR1 visa, and I am currently visiting my husband in the US with a B1/B2 visa. He wants to add my name to his babka account. Is it ok? Is it allowed with a tourist visa?

(It's ok for the bank, I want to know if it's of for immigration also)

Thanks!

I opened a bank account during one of my visits to my husband under the VWP. We're at the final stages of the visa process and used my US bank account information as part of our proof of assets. No issues at all, neither from the bank or from US immigrations so go for it. :)
