Hi All,

Had my interview yesterday (30/07/15) in Mumbai consulate at 07.30 am, First interview with an Indian officer at 8.45 am asked me original and copies of police clearance certificate, Birth certificate,Passport, Marriage certificate, Tax Documents, DS 260 confirmation page and two photos, medical reports.

Asked me following questions then

who is calling you?

Have you been to outside India? which countries? How long?

Have you been to USA?

then she gave me some documents which is not required for them ( bank statements, wage slips etc,)

Then she handed me a white pamphlet explaining domestic violence and security, asked me to take a seat and wait for interview with the american CO

After one hour 20 minutes, my token number displayed and asked me to come down to counter 13

American CO was cool and friendly, he said his name and told me he was going to take my interview, first, raise your right hand take an oath, then put my right four fingers in the scanner.

Then asked me who is calling you?

when was your marriage?

is it an arrange marriage?

who arranged it?

when did you start talking each other?

does she have brother and sisters?

did they attend the wedding?

what is she doing doing now?

How you seeing each other? what is your Skype id?

where does your wife parents live?

Then he said your interview is finished, you have to pay $165 dollar before going to USA, then he asked me, have you got 2014 W- 2 form from the petitioner? your wife didn't submitted it yet. you can email to consulate as soon as possible, once it get reviewed you will get your passport with in 7 days, We are holding your passport here now, Then he printed a white paper asking Form W-2 of the petitioner he signed and gave to me.

The whole interview was good and this was really unexpected, i had emailed the W-2 form yesterday itself, just waiting for the reply

i am just wondering how long will it usually take for Mumbai consulate to get reviewed, i am really nervous now, please do reply ? now the status is showing pending?
