I-130 Cover letter mistake. Please help!

Hi guys,

I'm filing for my family based green card concurrently I-485 and I-130 (married to US citizen). I sent my package out yesterday via USPS. However after sending my package, I discovered that my last minute changes on the cover letter of I-130 package has a wrong form name. On the letter, it says "Nature of the Submission: I-485 Original Submission". It was supposed to be "I-130 Original Submission". I copied and pasted and forgot to changed the text. Silly mistake I know.

Anyone sees that as a big problem for my application? The next line on the letter did say "Enclosed please find my Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative and supporting documents.". I'm worried it will be misleading.

Any help or thought would be appreciated.

They might not even read your letter. All my package had no letters. No worry.

Thanks for the reply NancyNguen. I just went throught your time line and the interview experience. I'm from "south Vietnam" too. Hopefully, our interview will go smoothly. My wife is Caucasian. I hope they're not going to separate us.
